This highchair plays with concepts of protection and conspicuousness. The elevated seat physically separates an individual from the normative sight level, and occupies a considerably foreign region of communal space. Within the hard exterior, designed as a romanticized protective exoskeleton, there is an upholstered and inviting interior.
